Online Banking Tip of the Day: Remove an External Account From Your List of Transfer Accounts

Did you know in the Online Banking Center you can submit a request to remove an external account from your list of transfer accounts?  This is a nice feature if you used the ‘External Transfer Setup’ process to add an external account for transfers and are no longer transferring funds with that account.
How:  Submit this request by utilizing the ‘Secure Mailbox’ within the Online Banking Center.  From the ‘Services’ menu, select ‘Messages’ to open your secure mailbox.  From the toolbar in your mailbox, select ‘New’ to open a pop-up window for the message you want to send.  Choose ‘Customer Service’ from the ‘To’ drop-down list and enter delete account in the ‘Subject’ line.  Within the box type your message that you want to delete an external account and be sure to include the last 4 digits of that account number.  When you are ready to send your message, press the ‘Send’ button in the upper left corner of the message window.  Within 1-2 business days your request will be processed.
