Greg Helmer joined Canandaigua National Bank & Trust from M&T Bank where he has spent 20+ years in banking. Greg began his career in 1997 as part of Citibank’s Management Trainee program. He held several positions in the retail branch network with Citibank until M&T acquired Citi’s upstate franchise in 2006. Greg managed the Rochester Downtown branch for both Citibank and M&T from 2002 to 2012 and has spent the last 7 years in M&T’s Business Banking Group as a Senior Relationship Manager. Greg’s network of professional service firms and not-for-profit organizations in the Rochester marketplace will be a tremendous asset to CNB.

Greg resides in Victor, NY with his wife Sherri and their four boys: Kaden, Justin, Kyle and Jake.
