CNB Participates in ABA's Get Smart About Credit DayDate: Sep 23, 08 Canandaigua National Bank & Trust will participate in this year’s American Bankers Association’s Get Smart About Credit Day program on October 16th. This program, established to provide financial knowledge and to educate America’s young adult consumers on the importance of establishing good credit, has reached millions of students ranging from middle school to high school.
Acknowledging the significance of educating every age group of consumers, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust has participated in ABA’s Get Smart About Credit Day for several consecutive years. More than a dozen of CNB employees will educate local students on account management, credit reports, and identity theft. These skills, provided by CNB’s community financial experts, are intended to benefit students by encouraging financial stability and success no matter the age.
