CNB Participates in ABA’s 2009 Teach Children to Save DayDate: Apr 21, 09 Canandaigua National Bank & Trust will participate in this year’s American Bankers Association’s Teach Children to Save Day program today, April 21st. This program, established to provide financial knowledge and to educate America’s youngest consumer on the benefits of saving, has reached millions of students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Acknowledging the significance of educating every age group of consumers, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust has participated in ABA’s Teach Children to Save Day for several consecutive years. Dozens of CNB employees will educate Rochester’s local elementary students on what it means to budget and save their money. These skills, provided by CNB’s community financial experts, are intended to benefit these students by encouraging financial stability and success at an even younger age. Founded in 1887, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust is the Rochester region’s ONLY local, full-service, community-owned financial institution, with 23 branches in Ontario and Monroe Counties.
