Changing Your Security Questions

If you want to change the security questions that you've already set up, the option to do that is available on the "Security Question Required" page. The process for getting to that page is different for unregistered and registered computers:

Unregistered computer

  1. Log into CNB Online Banking from the home page or from the Online Banking login page.
  2. You'll be taken to the "Security Question Required" page and presented with one of your Security Questions.
  3. IF you've forgotten the answers to one or more of your Security Questions, you'll need to have them reset. Follow the instructions below for resetting your security questions.
  4. Select the "Change Security Questions" button. You do not need to answer the question on this page (you'll do that on the following page).

  6. You'll be taken to the "Change Security Questions and Answers" page and presented with one of your Security Questions.
  7. Enter the correct answer to the Security Question.
  8. You'll be required to select or define all three questions and answers again in the fields provided.

  10. Select "Submit."
  11. You'll be taken to the "Security Question Reset" page, indicating that your questions were successfully changed.
  12. Select "Continue."
  13. You'll be taken to the "Security Question Required" page and presented with one of your Security Questions to complete your login. (Unregistered computers only.)

Registered computer

  1. Log into CNB Online Banking from the home page or from the Online Banking login page.
  2. When you are asked to choose a digital certificate, select "Cancel."
  3. Follow the instructions for a unregistered computer above, beginning in Step 2.

Resetting Your Security Questions

From the "Security Question Required" page:

  1. Select "Send reset code."
  2. You'll be notified that the reset code has been sent to the e-mail address that you provided when you set up your security questions.

  4. Select the "Continue" link to return to the "Security Question Required" page.
  5. Once you have received the reset code, select "Reset Security Questions" from the "Security Question Required" page.
  6. Enter the reset code that was sent to you and select "Submit."
