November 22, 2017

We have been made aware of a Social Engineering* text scam telling people that their debit card has been blocked or compromised. There are multiple phone numbers involved, with some utilizing local area codes. The text message attempts to have you call a number and input your personal identifiable information; specifically your Social Security number and Debit Card number. This is a SCAM. Delete the text message or mark it as junk. Do not follow through with their instructions.

If by chance you, or someone you know, has responded and provided personal information to the automated system, please contact your bank office today or contact our Customer Call Center at 585-394-4260 X 0.
